When you’re searching for a photographer, it’s not just about the quality of their work or the cost of their services. There is the human connection, a bond that forms between the photographer and the people they work with. More often than not, the families I work with become my friends – your kids become “my kids”, your family becomes “my family”. I LOVE this and wouldn’t change a thing.
So let’s get to know each other a little better. I’ll start…
My family means the world to me – a wonderful husband and three amazing children.
I admit to enjoying wine & chocolate & coffee. A good Australian shiraz, a tasty bar of 85% cacao and a cup of Starbucks Caffe Verona will do me just nicely.
I run half-marathons and will soon be doing my first (short) triathlon.
I can listen to good jazz music any time – Miles, Thelonius and Duke are my favorites – as well as any song that Frank, Ella, Louis or Tony sing.
Rom-coms are a not-so-guilty pleasure, but I absolutely adore the classics, like Bringing Up Baby and Philadelphia Story (yes, I have a thing for Cary and Katharine together.)
Indulging in a great book is never a waste of time.
I’m currently a candidate for the title Certified Professional Photographer through the Professional Photographers of America (PPA). It’s a lot of studying and practice, but the end result – to ensure my client’s receive the best possible photography from me – is worth it. That’s only a step, though, as once I reach that, I’ll be challenging myself to earn my Masters title.
I entered my first photographic competition through PPA and scored a 78. An 80 receives a Merit, so my score was an amazing accomplishment, one that I am extremely proud of.
There are so many other things I could include here, but we’ll need to have something to discover about each other.
Looking forward to getting to know you and creating some incredible memories…
